The process

From one URL
to a full report

Four stages, roughly 60 seconds. Here's exactly what happens between pasting a store URL and getting your report.

01

Crawl the storefront

From a single URL our server-side crawler fetches the homepage, top products, collections, cart, blog and policy pages — no CORS limits, no browser extension. Every response (HTML, headers, status) is captured for analysis.

02

Analyze across 8 lenses

Each page is parsed and run through 50+ checks spanning SEO, performance, accessibility, Shopify best practices, conversion, technical health, security and compliance. Real Core Web Vitals are pulled from Google in parallel.

03

Score transparently

Every failed check becomes a severity-ranked issue. Issues subtract points from their category; categories combine by weight into one 0–100 health score. Nothing is a black box — you can trace every point.

04

Deliver a fix-it report

You get each issue with its severity, evidence, business impact, estimated score gain and a documentation link — plus a revenue-ranked growth roadmap and a one-click PDF export.

Optional stepConnect Google Analytics 4

Turn the report from estimates into real revenue

The audit works perfectly without it. But connect your store's GA4 property and we stop guessing at the money behind each issue — the growth roadmap re-ranks itself around your actual revenue, sessions and conversion data.

Real revenue, not estimates

Every recommendation is sized against your own revenue and sessions instead of category averages, so the numbers reflect your store.

Fixes ranked by real impact

The roadmap re-orders itself by the revenue each fix can actually move for you — you work the highest-value items first.

Conversion by traffic channel

See conversion rate per source and channel, so you know whether a weak number is a traffic-quality problem or a storefront problem.

Find where shoppers drop off

Add-to-cart, checkout and engagement/bounce signals pinpoint the exact step in the funnel that is leaking sales.

🔒Read-only & one click. You connect from your report's Growth tab with a normal Google sign-in (the analytics.readonly scope). We only ever read your analytics — we never write or change anything, and you can disconnect any time.

Built on real data, not guesses

Where objective measurements exist, we use them instead of heuristics.

Google PageSpeed Insights

Core Web Vitals come straight from Google — CrUX field data (real Chrome-user p75) when your store has enough traffic, and Lighthouse lab data as a fallback.

Server-side crawler

We fetch pages from our own servers, so there are no CORS limits or browser-extension blind spots — we see the same HTML, headers and status codes Google's crawler does.

Shopify-native heuristics

Theme fingerprinting, app-bloat detection and Liquid/CDN checks are tuned specifically for Shopify — things a generic web auditor simply doesn't know to look for.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an audit take?+

About 60 seconds. We crawl your key pages and fetch real Core Web Vitals from Google in parallel, so the report is ready almost as soon as the crawl finishes.

Do you need access to my Shopify admin?+

No. We only read your public storefront — the same pages any shopper or Google can see. There is no app to install and no permissions to grant.

Which pages do you crawl?+

A representative set: the homepage, top products and collections, the cart, a blog post and your policy pages. That mix surfaces theme-wide issues as well as page-specific ones.

Can I audit a competitor’s store?+

Yes. Any public Shopify storefront can be audited from its URL — useful for benchmarking your SEO, performance and conversion setup against others in your niche.

Do I have to connect Google Analytics?+

No — it’s optional. Without it we estimate revenue impact from the audit itself. Connect your Google Analytics 4 property (a one-click, read-only sign-in) and the growth roadmap uses your real revenue, sessions, conversion rate and traffic-by-channel instead. We only ever read your analytics; we never change anything.
