These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Shopify Store Auditor (the "Service"), an AI-powered web application operated by Liquid Web Developers ("we", "us", "our") at shopifystoreauditor.liquidwebdevelopers.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Shopify Store Auditor analyzes public Shopify storefronts and produces an audit report covering performance, SEO, accessibility, conversion optimization, Core Web Vitals, security, technical health and trust & compliance, along with a prioritized, revenue-ranked growth roadmap. Reports are informational and are provided on an "as is" basis. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to act on any recommendation. We may add, modify or discontinue features at any time.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for ensuring you are authorized to audit any store URL you submit and to connect any account you link to the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Audit stores, or connect accounts, that you do not own or lack authorization to analyze;
- Use the Service to violate any law, or any third party's rights or terms — including those of Shopify or Google;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
- Circumvent usage limits, security measures, or authentication;
- Resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service, or remove any proprietary notices;
- Use the Service to build a competing product, or to transmit malware or unlawful content.
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, for any suspected violation.
4. Third-party connections
The Service can connect to third-party platforms, including Google (sign-in and Google Analytics) and Shopify. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. By connecting them, you authorize us to access data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy, and you represent that you have the authority to grant that access. You may revoke access at any time. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability or changes may affect the Service.
5. Plans & fees
Core auditing features are currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid plans or features in the future, we will present the applicable pricing and terms before you incur any charge. We may change our offerings and any pricing prospectively, with notice where required by law.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, audit engine, scoring methodology, text, graphics, logos and design — is owned by Liquid Web Developers and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. "Shopify Store Auditor" and "Liquid Web Developers" and associated logos are our marks; other names and logos are the property of their respective owners.
7. Your reports & data
As between you and us, the audit reports we generate for you are yours to use for your own business purposes. You grant us the rights necessary to process your data and inputs to operate and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the store URLs and connected accounts you provide and for having the right to submit them.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that audit results are complete or accurate, or that acting on any recommendation will produce a particular outcome — including any change in traffic, search ranking, conversion or revenue. Recommendations are automated and informational and are not professional, legal or financial advice.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIQUID WEB DEVELOPERS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Liquid Web Developers and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right, including auditing a store or connecting an account without authorization.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14) will survive.
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Liquid Web Developers' principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the competent courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us to seek a good-faith resolution.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Relationship. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
